CHILLICOTHE, IL - Today, Summer Camp Music Festival reveals that acclaimed American rock band Little Feat will perform a headlining set of their full album, Waiting for Columbus, this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend 2022 (May 27-29), with the Pre-Party taking place on Thursday, May 26th. Debuting more than 50 years ago, Little Feat is taking the stage to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the iconic ‘Waiting For Columbus’ down in Chillicothe, IL. This marks the first Summer Camp appearance for the band, who will join over 100 other artists on multiple stages with 3 days of music and camping.

This announcement follows a reveal yesterday that The Smashing Pumpkins will also be joining host bands moe. & Umphrey’s McGee in 2022 where the band will perform in central Illinois for the first time in 15 years! The legendary American indie rock band from Chicago will be making their debut at the festival in May 2022 joining over 100 other artists on multiple stages with 3 days of music, camping, and celebration.

As one of the most visible alternative rock bands of the early ‘90s, the Smashing Pumpkins sound is an amalgam of progressive rock, heavy metal, goth, psychedelia, and dream pop, a layered, powerful style driven by swirling, distorted guitars.
