This week Harmonize Peoria was offered a booth in the Have A Heart Community Corner at the Heart of Illinois Fair taking place July 19th-23rd at the Expo Gardens in Peoria.

We’ll be there from 4-8pm Thursday and Noon-8pm on Saturday.

We plan to use the booth for the following:

• Letting people know what we do and why

• Learning a little more about the needs of the community

• Bringing out all of our instruments for people to hold, try, and play

• Having volunteer musicians available to help teach something fun on the instruments (a riff, a melody, a beat, etc) with the hope of sparking some interest in playing or receiving lessons.

• Letting people know all the ways they can support us

  • Following us on social media - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok

  • Attending our events

  • Donating Instruments

  • Donations through Venmo and PayPal

  • Donation programs through Amazon Smile, Kroger Community Rewards, and Facebook Fundraisers

• Getting out into the community and having fun with people and with music!
