As always there is a lot of live local music in the Peoria area this weekend, and we’ve put everything we know about in one place to help you decide where to go!

Have you watched What’s Up Peoria lately? It has evolved a bit over the years and this last week, Kelly and I tried something new… segments were prerecorded and edited together at a business downtown called Selfie Space. We loved this place! You can see the full video at the end of this post.

While there, I used multiple cameras and a wireless mic to record this original from First Date Kiss, performed by Andy Martinez. It was a lot of fun and I love the final result.

Selfie Space is a fun place for a local singer-songwriter to record a music video, do a Facebook live show, have a band photo shoot, etc.

They also book parties… so maybe we’ll see some live bands there soon!

We are aware that our FB “Events” tab does not always work when you need it to and are in contact a couple of times a week trying to fix it. The good news is, this link, when opened in a browser, does work. It’s not ideal, but it’s a workaround for when you need to know what’s going on in between blog posts!
