I’m Taking a Break…

About seven months ago, a blog post went up telling everyone PML’s demands on my time had grown to be too much without continued financial support or a strong team of volunteers.

The rest of the post explained ways anyone could support Peoria Music Live and what I do here, as well as all the ways Peoria Music Live can support fans, artists, venues, and events.

It would only take a small handful of partners to stabilize Peoria Music Live enough to be able to hire some people to help.

Right now though, we have one monthly sponsor, and it’s not enough to sustain everything I do...

That being said, THANK YOU to Hungry Moose for showing you believe PML is valuable and worth your support.

Anyone who appreciates what PML does should Go in and get a tenderloin or some chili dogs this weekend (don’t forget their awesome onion straws) and thank them for supporting live local music through pml!

I have been doing too much and don’t have the income to hire anyone to help… So, I’ve decided it is time to do something different.

Things that will happen behind the scenes:
Continuing meetings with local artists, venues, and others to work on new initiatives and collaborations.
I want to tell you more, but we’ll be able to share soon enough… here’s security footage from a recent meeting though.

Things you most likely won’t see:
The regular weekend blog post list
Answers to most emails/texts/Instant messages
Me going out specifically to cover shows

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER FEB 8TH? 

Hopefully, I’ll be able to announce some new initiatives and collaborations… both for the subscribers-only Green Room as well as our general followers.

It will really depend on what happens these next few weeks… There are a lot of factors at play here and I look forward to being able to share some good news soon!

we won’t be able to continue indefinitely without your help!
