DUFFY’S REVENGE

Known for our “Celtic Music with An Attitude”, Duffy’s Revenge performs a unique selection of traditional, non-traditional and original Celtic tunes. If you annually attend the Peoria Irish Fest/Erin Feis or St. Patrick’s Day in Peoria, you have likely heard our band play.

Patrick Martin is our front man and bagpiper, is one of the very best you will ever hear.

Patrick is a highly sought-after piper, and has played in numerous and pipes and drums bands. Patrick is also our vocalist, providing a unique Celtic sound when signing a tune. Robin Roberts is a seasoned and accomplished musician, playing banjo, mandolin, guitar as well as bagpipes. Robin has a history of performing in rock bands as well as pipes and drum bands during his music career. Bob Privratksy is an award-winning percussionist, also playing for many years in bands, ranging from rock to pipes and drums, and provides some attitude and edge to our band. Mike Steele and Patrick Steele are also longtime accomplished musicians. Both originally played rock and blues for years, before hitting the Celtic/Irish music scene. Patrick Steele is known as one of the finest electric and acoustic guitarists in the area and Mike Steele follows up with playing the bass guitar, keeping your toes tapping to the jigs and reels and the unique sound of Duffy’s Revenge. The bands trademark tune “Celtic Blues” features members Patrick Martin and Patrick Steele, and is always a crowd favorite, combining all the musician’s backgrounds and expertise into a tune no like other you have ever heard.
