Kindall Reuschel
With a BA in Elementary Ed from Knox College, Kindall never planned on being a serial entrepreneur. But when life threw some curveballs, and she became a homeless single mother of four in 2012, she started her first Peoria-based business, Hire A Housewife. Her second, Peoria Music Live, began in 2017 and has continued to grow over the last five years as well.
Why I Support Harmonize Peoria:
HP is about giving more kids an opportunity to learn the lessons music teaches us. Being part of an organized program that encourages goal-setting and provides some accountability, as well as giving them a creative outlet is something that will positively impact many of the area youth.
Mike Reuschel
An avid trumpet player who is currently in two local bands, Mike works full-time at Pekin Insurance and has been supportive of Peoria Music Live and related endeavors Kindall has worked on over the last several years since they met in June of 2018.
Why I Support Harmonize Peoria:
Because my wife told me to, and she’s pretty much always right.
Amanda Hochertz
Amanda works in digital marketing at a local advertising agency. She has a degree in Arts, Entertainment, and Media management (with a concentration in music business) from Columbia College Chicago. She dabbled in music growing up including piano and flute (in school band) to a church choir, high school choir, and ensemble competitions. This instilled a great love for live music.
Why I Support Harmonize Peoria:
Music impacts the way children learn and grow in extremely positive ways. Every child deserves that chance to participate in (and love) the arts regardless of income or skill level. Music was an important part of my life growing up (and continues to be) and I want the next generation to have that opportunity as well.
