Strat & Strad

‘Strat & Strad’ is an unlikely combination of electric rock guitar and classical/folk styled electric violin. They fill the air with lush textures and beautiful melodies, creating a unique brew of aural pleasantries.

The core of the band is the married couple Rosemary (lifelong student of the violin, second violinist of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra) and Aaron (self-taught rhythm/color guitarist). They came from outside states looking to make a life in Peoria on their own separate terms, met, fell in love, and started making beautiful music together - metaphorically at first and now literally!

‘Strad & Strad’ plays covers and originals. They are ready to rock out any stage, party, private event, or corner of a garage. Their mission is simple: music is amazing medicine so let’s get people moving together, feeling together, healing together - for any and all reasons!
