Last Saturday was the Bicycle the Bridge event at the Bob Michel Bridge between Peoria and East Peoria. Musicians and fans gathered all day and into the evening to enjoy the sunshine, the space, and the live music.
The bridge is open to foot traffic and bicycles… so this was a great way to get the word out about that and to bring music to those who were already using the bridge for commutes or recreation. Check out the photo gallery below to see just a few pics from the day… including one where a bike went through as I was snapping a pic.
It was such a fantastic day that after stopping up in the morning, I made a quick trip home and parked myself on the bridge for the remainder of the day. Check out the pics and come back later for some videos!
