Peoria Music Live started with one person falling in love with live local music and spreading the word about this growing scene in the Peoria Area. It has quickly become multi-faceted and we anticipate being different things to different people.

When you want to know what is going on with live music in the area, we are the first place you check. (Our events list is available through our website as well as Facebook.)
If you are headed to a venue that is new to you or out to see a band you haven't seen before, we are the place you search for videos and commentary about them both.
We put artists in front of you that get you excited about live music. Peoria Music Live isn't about gathering interesting videos and writing blog posts for the sake of doing it. Our purpose is to motivate people to get off their couches and into a live music experience. We do this daily through our posts to Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram because we want you to know what you are missing when you stay at home.
We also intend to create some of those live music experiences that will draw you out. While there are still plans being made for a Ladies' Night (You can join the Facebook group here if you are interested), we also have some other pretty exciting opportunities coming up.

Peoria Music Live is much more than a website and Facebook page. I am at as many shows as possible each week so that I can take photos and video to share. We also accept user submitted videos from performances I didn't make it to. You can read more about that here.
We are excited to work with ALL artists, in all genres, to make the Peoria music scene something everyone is proud to be a part of. Because we serve all genres, we put your music in front of people who would not have likely seen it otherwise. We take your music to new fans and bring the new fans back to you.
While some bands and artists have in-depth knowledge of social media, we know not everyone does. Either way, we make it as easy as possible to get all of your music events promoted through us. I'm also happy to help out with social media tips if you have a question. The better individual pages are, the better we all are when we work together.
I can't say it too many times. A rising tide lifts all the ships.
Getting your band on our pages is also a great way to get seen by more venues. We do not book bands for venues, but being a part of Peoria Music Live is a good way to be seen by others in the Peoria area.

Whether or not your business hosts live music performances, everyone in Peoria benefits from a more organized and well-promoted music scene.
Getting just a fraction of the Peoria Area population out of their homes and more excited about live music will be a huge boost to the economy, but this movement also attracts the attention of visitors from outside of Peoria, increasing the number of people who come to town for shows and events (and eventually the number of people who move here).
We believe that when Peoria music gains more fans, Peoria will gain more fans.
The bulk of what we do is done at no charge, purely for the benefit of Peoria and the music scene. Besides listing and promoting shows, we also fully leverage the art of social media and our website to put venues and artists in front of people who would not normally see them.
We are also working on some unique projects that specifically target untapped markets that businesses and venues have trouble reaching on their own. We would love to partner with Peoria business owners to get some of these sponsored projects off the ground.
