Our First Music Stage! Come out and show your support!

When Kaci from the Peoria Convention and Visitor's Bureau asked if I was interested in managing a stage at the Mardi Gras in May Festival, I didn't hesitate. Of course I would!

What better way to showcase to Peoria all of the amazing talent we have in the area than to put on a show featuring that talent.

One of the coolest parts of putting this together was finding sponsors for the event. We have 6 official sponsors, 1 unofficial sponsor, and some amazing guys who stepped up to cover our lights and sound at the last minute. Support live music and live music will support you, right? That's our plan...

We will soon have two new sections to the website, both devoted to supporters of live local music. These sponsoring businesses will be the first to get a spot on those pages! 

While there are many small businesses who want to support live local music, these are the ones who jumped on board with Peoria Music Live at their first opportunity! Click on the captions to be taken to their Facebook pages. Show them how we support those who support live music!

The Peoria Music Live Stage will be showcasing solo and duo acts who sing originals and/or original covers. 

When I sent out a request for artists who met that criteria, I was surprised to find that in less than 24 hours I had 21 acts interested in my seven available spots. They were all great acts too! It was difficult to choose these seven... but I promise you are going to love them!

In addition to artist merchandise for a few of the artists, we'll also have Peoria Music Live pint glasses for sale as well as a few other things! Come check it out!

Recently adding Air to the things they want to keep safe for you and your family, Water and Air Medics will come in and test your water and air quality for free! Check them out!

Kenny's has amazing food and great live music most nights. Open 11am-4am daily ... Kitchen too! They are also an official box office for Jay Goldberg Events as well as other big live music events in the area including Riverfront Events and other area music festivals.  Check them out!

EVB Audio has the live sound capabilities needed for small to midsize indoor or outdoor events with up to 16 channels and 3 monitors at affordable rates for community events.

Besides all the musicians and bands that Office on Main hosts on the evening and weekends, they also have daily homemade lunch specials Monday thru Friday from 11-2.

Random Acts of Hope is a ministry that began in 2014 giving hope away in the form of floral arrangements! They will be at the festival, set up for kids 12 and under to create a free bouquet for Mother's Day!
