It was the last show for the Monarch, but a new beginning for many Central Illinois fans who saw Chicago Farmer with a full band on Thursday.

If you weren’t at the Monarch Music Hall on Thursday night, you should be disappointed you missed it… and not just because it was the last show at the Monarch, but because Chicago Farmer and the Fieldnotes were phenomenal!

A Night at the Monarch with State & Water "Spring String"

The soft open of the new Monarch Music Hall was fantastically put together. The taping of State & Water included several amazing artists and raised money for public broadcasting, all while putting together one of the most entertaining nights of music you'll find in the area.
